- How we measure our Egg Cartons!
I prefer the styrofoam over pulp because you can not wipe out or clean in anyway. Moisture destroys pulp cartons and styrofoam stands up to more handling.Plastic is nice cause you can visually see the product, but tend to be very slippery when handling. We are happy with these
The foam cartons stay fresh for long periods of time until we can use them to provide free eggs to our neighbors, doctors, and service personnel. The foam cartons are lightweight and stay clean for reuse occasionally. The cost, quality, and appearance all lead to the foam cartons being preferred for our purposes. WE love these cartons!
These are easy to reuse. Customers know where to return the carton because they are different. We can wipe the cups out if they are a bit soiled. One problem is the notch closure which sometimes gets broken.
I purchased the foam cartons because of the choice of colors and the fact that they were recyclable along with the fact that they were less expensive at the time. I must say that I now regret that purchase because my customers actually stopped purchasing my eggs because of the foam carton So I have a box of foam cartons that are going nowhere fast. I only use the pulp cartons now and my egg sales are through the roof. I also have been purchasing the plastic duck eggs cartons from you and I was thrilled to see the pulp cartons show up and I ordered those as soon as I saw them. If you are looking to add new products, I would ask for a dozen size duck eggs carton in the pulp material.
Bought them for a neighbor that has chickens since she couldn't afford them. In return she gives me eggs occasionally
