I love the price but no matter how diligent I am to not tear the containers when removing from the stack, I’m still tearing at least 25% of them. They won’t hold up past one use, if that unfortunately.
Hey Jessica,
I'm sorry this has been occuring to your cartons.
These are made by the biggest flat top carton manufacturer in North America, Pactiv. The majority of the flat top cartons you see at every grocery store in the US are made by Pactiv.
Unfortunately, there's a recycled paper shortage at the moment. They're using more cardboard than paper in the pulp blend as a result so the cartons aren't as flexible or smooth. With all of this being said, these cartons shouldn't be ripping left and right.
We open these bundles and ship out smaller quantities every weekday. We would immediately stop shipping if we were seeing that many rips right off the bat.
For the future for unpacking your cartons, we recommend loosening the bundle up by knocking it around a little bit like you would with a bag of ice but gentler. This will loosen the bundle up and make them easier to denest. Since these cartons are a paper product, they will rip if you pull them too hard.

*12-Egg Flat Top Pulp
Disappointed! These cartons tear on the back seam the VERY first time you fold them over. Definitely not reusable for my egg biz They are a one and done carton.
