What are plastic egg cartons?
Our egg cartons are made from recycled plastic which is sometimes referred to a RPET. This plastic is heated and then molded. This plastic is also recyclable and can be recycled up to 7 times.
What are the benefits of plastic egg cartons?
The biggest benefit of plastic egg cartons is their appearance. Many customers have not changed to pulp, despite environmental concerns, because the pulp cartons aren’t able to display their beautiful eggs, bath bombs, or baked goods. The pulp cartons also don’t hold up as well as plastic cartons in climates with high humidity.
Is it safe to reuse plastic egg cartons?
Some of our customer reuse their plastic egg cartons. Many do not due to the legal constraints of doing so. We often see our plastic egg cartons being reused by people who sell at farmers markets or people who are just giving their eggs away to family and friends.
