Shipping damage

The egg cartons were received but the shipping box was damaged which caused damage to the egg cartons. The shipping boxes are an awkward tall and thin size which may be the issue.

Unfortunately this does sometimes happen especially when shipping cross country, but we certainly understand how frustrating it is when it does! Most cartons I ordered were great!

I love these little cartons! I stamp them with our farm logo and they look amazing! I ordered 50 of these and only about 4 of them had either ripped areas where the little notches go into the flap to hold them shut. And one had a blown out “hinge”

The only thing I wished is that they had a bit more room for the eggs. I regularly get 13 oz eggs which is pretty normal for coturnix quail. And these cartons just aren’t quite big enough to fit all 15 spots with the normal sized eggs we get.

If these cartons had a cell size of 1.5 x 1.825 they would be perfect!

Hi Kelsey! We are so sorry to hear that some of your cartons arrived damaged!! Unfortunately these cartons are intended for a standard size quail egg which is typically 11.5 grams. We usually do not recommend them for jumbo or coturnix quail. We do hope to have a bigger quail carton in the future for the larger breeds! Thank you for your suggestion!

Smaller than the 12-Egg cartons, careful with large coturnix quails.

I had bought the 12-egg cartons for my quail eggs and did a repeat order for 15-egg. Unfortunately these don't fit my coturnix quail eggs. Bummed because I ordered 150 assuming they would fit the same size as the 12-egg carton. After, I did note that the cell dimensions are smaller based on measurements in the description, so that was my error. 1" x 1.5" is the measurement on the 12-egg and 0.875" x 1.625" are the measurements on the 15-egg.

Eggcartons.com was responsive to my message and we're looking into the plastic cartons to see if those will be a better fit. Struggling with removing a star because they are a great company to work with... but I think if these are being advertised for quail eggs there should be a disclaimer that they may not be a fit for coturnix quail eggs. I'd really like to stick with pulp over plastic.

Great quality - needs a bit more room

I LOVE these cartons. Perfect for my celadon quail. Sometimes my extra large eggs get crushed though. Would love for them to have a bit more room.
