| The SunRise 1250 moves 1250 cfm (cubic feet per minute) in full sunlight. It can cool an area of 1800-2200 square feet. It has a flat base for normal sloped shingle roofs and comes fully assembled. In addition to providing your chickens with food and light it is also very important to provide them with fresh air. Ventilation in hen houses protects your flock from heat, keeping them comfortable. In short, cooler chickens lay more eggs. Using the latest 'state-of-the-art' circuitry captures sunlight even on overcast days. Totally weatherproof, our panels are designed for optimum efficiency and are hail, and extreme weather resistant. The following upgrades are available; keep in mind, the standard model fan has a flat base, with no thermostat installed. Also, even with a thermostat installed, the fan needs some sunlight to work. -Flat Base for normal sloped, shingled roofs -Curb Base for low-slope, tile, or flat roofs -Gable Mount converts any existing vent into a solar vent -Fixed Thermostat This thermostat is designed to turn the fan on at 80°F, with a less 15°F shutoff.
